RECENT PAINTINGS FROM SERIES INNER GARDEN, DISAPPEARING, 2024-2025
In this series I have pondered upon the meeting point of inner and outer landscapes, inner emotions, wishes, dreams, losses, change of the seasons, and the beauty, strength and yet fragility of life, and the beauty of the chance too. I have also drawn inspiration from the botanical gardens, seaside by the ocean, ocean currents, and forest and moss. I endeavor to capture the essence and soul of the human being. I have worked on oil colour on primed paper and oil colour on canvas. My working philosophy lies in between impression and expression, and I am very interested in the movement of the human body. Maybe some of it can be seen on the canvas and I hope that the works bring a sense of strong life force to the viewer; seeing and sensing the beauty of our lives.
